Privacy Policy:  We help victims of Identity Fraud for free.  We will never sell or distribute any personal information you provide us.  Our purpose is to assist others who have experienced identity fraud with information they can use.  As victims of fraud ourselves, we are especially sensitive to the need to keep such information confidential

My name is Robert Hartle. My wife JoAnn and I found out in 1994 that I was a victim of "Identity Theft." Our lives were changed forever.

We discovered that there were no laws against the stealing of someone's identity. (Which is your name, birth date or Social Security Number.)  We also learned very quickly that no one considered these crimes to be of any importance.  Even though the Law Enforcement and Business Communities recognize that these crimes have devastating effects on the victims and they cost the American consumer and taxpayer billions of dollars each year, no one had any interest in dealing with the problem.

Repairing our lives was not easy, but with a lot of hard work and the support of each other, we managed to get to the end of the most devastating experience of our lives.

Our story has been featured on "48 Hours", "America's Most Wanted", "Fox 10 National TV News", "The Leeza Gibbon Show", "The Home and Family Show", and the "Sally Jesse Raphael Show." We were also featured on Dateline on July 6, 2002.  The report showed how easy it is to steal Identities and pointed out the State and Federal Laws we helped pass making Identity Theft crimes a felony.

We have told our story on many national talk radio shows, as well as have been interviewed on all the local Phoenix, Arizona, TV stations and a few local talk radio stations. We have also been featured in such publications as Parade Magazine, Kiplinger Magazine, the American Bar Association Magazine and the Delta Airlines InFlight Magazine.

We now help others who have suffered Identity Theft.  For instance, we give free seminars concerning "Identity Theft" at the OASIS Foundation for Senior Living in Scottsdale, Arizona and teach a series of college classes on the subject.

My wife JoAnn and I want to do more in the way of helping victims and non-victims, while at the same time making it harder for the criminals. So we have written two books on the subject that can be purchased on this website.  The purchase price is tax deductible.
